11th July 2011 | The Windsor Boys High School fron Windsor, UK arrived in Ballito this week to prepare for only their second game on their World Rugby Tour that will see them travel to South Africa, Australia, Fiji and America playing against a range of rugby clubs and teams.
The Dolphins U18 team put up a good performance for their first run out onto the field as a team but couldn’t make the speed and powerful backline play of the Windors team. The Dolphins played the ball wide through the 80 minutes, trying to open up space in the opposing teams backline but it wasn’t to be. Windsor was strong in offence with quick hands and the ability to gain easy ground with powerful running.
Local supporters cheered on the local side who sniffed the try line on several occasions but weren’t able to turn it into points. When Windsor did get going supporters watched as they switched play around and ended up in the Dolphins 22. When the final whistle blew the Windsor boys finished 29-0 ahead. It was a great pre season game for the Dolphins who have been great hosts to the touring team.
